Lett adgang til havna og anlegget er veldig bra beskyttet fra de fleste vindene, selv når sydvesten blåser sterkt.
Gratis buss til Strömstad torg og ellers gratis ferge over elva for fotgjengere. Fergen krever eget kort (fås hos Strömstad Marina AB) for å fungere.
Fasilitetene på hotellet har bra standard.
Pizzeria rett ved havna på hotellet.
