Godt ankerfeste på 8-10 meter, god plass.
Man kommer seg enkelt til Utstein kloster og Utstein kloster hotell med jolle, og ligger med ganske god avstand til hytter på Fjøløy.
Greit beskyttet fra vest, nord og øst men noe eksponert fra sør-sørvest og Kvitsøyfjorden.
Uproblematisk innseiling med staker på det meste av grunner og skjær.
